This guitar has an amazing feel and is quick to bond with! It has really opened up in its 15 years. Neck is the perfect size and profile. It is an absolute beauty, with a great set-up ready to play! No breaks, cracks or repairs. Does have some signs of use including, a finsh wear spot where the arm rests on the top edge, some light scuffs on top and back, and a few minor dents and dings. 8.5 of 10 overall. All original except tuners and pins (original tuners and pins inluded in case). Minimal fretware on a perfect neck! SEE many images below!! Includes original Hard case and other things in pics.

Without question, the Gibson Custom J-45 is one of the most beloved acoustic guitars in the history of modern music, and the icon of Gibson’s round-shoulder dreadnought acoustic line since its introduction in 1942. The J-45 Custom is a celebration of the original. Combining vintage appointments with several modern features, the J-45 Custom delivers the renowned tone of classic J-45s.
Every acoustic guitar made by Gibson features hand-scalloped, radiused top bracing inside the body, a feature normally found only in limited-run, hand-made guitars. By scalloping each brace by hand, the natural sound of the acoustic is focused more toward the center of the body, enhancing the instrument’s sound projection.
This gorgeous custom J-45 is one of only 40 limited editions made of its kind in 2006. This particular J-45, with its uncharacteristic antique natural lacquer finish, and flamed maple back and sides, resembles its icon partner the Gibson SJ-200 from the 1950s. Each J-45 Custom Flame model also featured an ebony fingerboard and bridge, gold Gotoh tuners with butterbean style buttons and the LR Baggs Element pickup system.
This guitar is a fantastic choice for songwriters. The guitar has plenty of tone when played with a light touch thanks to the punchiness of maple, and will also respond well to a heavier hand without much breakup. Fingerstyle parts sound great on this guitar as well, thanks to excellent maple clarity.
