Lovies guitars is offering up a gorgeous 1982 Epiphone Emperor F in stunning sunburst finish. The guitar is in fantastic shape. This Epiphone Emperor F is the Full hollow body electric guitar. Built at the Matsumoku Company in Matsumoto Japan, it is very similar to the Gibson L5. The Matsumoku built guitars of this era are among the rarest and most sought after post-US production Epiphones in existence. The Japanese woodworking, build quality and attention to detail in the Emperor F are second to none, rivaling the best from Gibson, making the Emperor F more expensive than the Broadways and Emperors built later in Korea. This guitar has a professionally done Plek and set-up completed 07/2018. The guitar has Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Swing 13-53 strings, a custom cream pick guard (original black pick guard will be included with the guitar), and a Reunion Blues Continental Voyager gig bag. 

Specifications: Arched carved solid Spruce top with 7-ply black and cream binding, arched laminated Maple back and sides with 3-ply binding, 3 piece Maple neck, fully bound Ebony fingerboard block pearl inlays with Abalone V-shaped inserts, fully bound headstock with pearl Epiphone logo and Tree of Life inlay, gold plated tuners with engraved Epiphone logo, two gold plated Humbucker pickups, 2 volume, 2 tone control knobs, 3-way pickup switch, 6-saddle gold plated Tune-O-Matic bridge, Frequensator tailpiece, antique sunburst finish, 25.5″ scale, 1-11/16″ nut width, 16.75″ lower bout body width, 3.25″ body depth. Noted imperfections (please look carefully at the photos): Some deterioration of gold plating on hardware, small pin-head sized chip below tone knobs, light surface scratches in clear coat throughout the guitar. No major dings or marks. The guitar sounds absolutely incredible! It has an amazing feel and is quick to bond with! All original. Neck is the perfect size and profile. It is an absolute beauty, with a perfect set-up ready to play! No breaks, cracks or repairs. Minimal fretware on a perfect neck!
