Description

Lovies Guitars is Excited to offer up this Super RARE 2004 Gibson Les Paul Custom with an Abbey Road Black Ebony Finish! This Custom Shop Abbey Road guitar is based on a Les Paul Custom. It is one of ONLY 2 guitars ever produced as prototypes for an Abbey Road Les Paul model. This was created in conjunction with The Beatles producer Sir George Martin. The only other example is on display at Abbey Road Studios in London. This model would have been built as a limited edition guitar and each signed personally by George Martin. Unfortunately Sir George became ill during the development of the model and the idea was scrapped. It was planned to have been sold with a percentage of the earnings going to support several charities including building a community center on the Island of Montserrat where Martin’s AIR Studio was located and he and his family retained a home. The Abbey Road model is one of several designs discussed and was ultimately agreed to be the best design option and ONLY 2 examples were ever built. This is a Collector’s item and super rare, get it while you can! MINTY Condition, with just a few minor marks and indents here and there and light hardware tarnish, this guitar is unplayed and only in a display case, easy 9.7/10! ALL Original. NO Breaks, Cracks or Repairs! Includes an Original Hard Shell Case and a Free Sample of Fret-Not, our favorite fretboard cleaner out there, check it out at fretnot.net!
