Lovies Guitars is Excited to offer up this 1931 Gibson EH-150 6-String Lap Steel with a Sunburst Finish! This Gibson EH-150 6-String Model Lap Steel Electric Guitar was handcrafted in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and features a sunburst lacquer finish, maple body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, and the original tweed hard shell case.

The early Gibson EH-150 with the “Charlie Christian” style blade pickup is widely regarded as being among the finest sounding lap steel guitars in Gibson history, in addition to being one of the first successful electric instruments. This lap steel guitar is stunning, with its lovely flame maple top and back triple-bound in celluloid and pearl peghead inlay.

These semi-hollow body maple steels all have a very rich, powerful tone with a lot of definition. It’s a great-sounding and playing steel, as well as a stylish instrument with a classic Gibson look! Excellent Shape for its age! Has typical checking and indents for its age, 9/10. ALL Original. NO Breaks, Cracks or Repairs.
