Only a Gibson is good enough!” If you haven’t had a chance to put your hands on a Banner Logo Gibson you’re missing out! Truly a phenomenal era in Gibson production. This guitar has so much character! As far as sound goes, there is very little comparison as this has such a big rich and deep sound. Specs! The nut and saddle are newer bone replacements. A crack on the back has been glued. Original nickel 3 plate open gear tuners. Banner logo. 24.75″ scale length. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with a 12″ radius. The original 19 medium small frets are in great shape. Spruce top with mahogany back and sides finished in sunburst. Rosewood bridge.
What a fantastic guitar! Sounds amazing! Great low mids and bass that really fill in the voice of the guitar. Crisp, delicate treble that floats above the mids. All the registers are very well balanced yet still retain a lot of personality. Lush sound but with a depth and complexity you wont find in your average high quality instrument. The neck is money! It’s on a the bigger side of medium (not fully baseball bat size). Both the neck and the body sit extremely comfortably for most players. Looks absolutely stunning. Great Shape, especially for being over 75 years old! Has all the wear you’d expect from a historic instrument like this, checking, indents and marks all over, a couple minor cracks on the back that appear to have been repaired, easy 8/10! ALL Original, except for maybe the bottom strap button. Includes an Original Hard Shell Case and a Free Sample of Fret-Not, our favorite fretboard cleaner out there, check it out at fretnot.net!
