Lovies Guitar’s is excited to offer up this 1965 Gibson Heritage Guitar with Brazilian Rosewood Back/Sides! This model made its debut in 1965 & for the first couple of years Brazilian rosewood was used for the back & sides before switching to Indian in ’68. This guitar has a fabulous, true vintage vibe to it & produces a really warm, rich tone making it very fun to play. Nicely rounded mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. 1 11/16″ nut width and 25 1/2″ scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Three of the tuners don’t look original and the saddle has been upgraded. This vintage instrument is in Very Good Shape, Especially considering its age, however, the finish is splitting across the top, binding cracks in spots, right side has some finish marks and a crack on the top near the pickguard, the back has fair bit of finish marks as well. NO Breaks or Repairs, Includes an Original Hard-Shell Case!!
