A true late-’60s Gibson rocker, this SG Standard delivers the kind of snappy attack, biting midrange, and effortless upper-fret access** that made the model a staple for generations of players. With its lightweight feel, aggressive double-cut styling, and vintage Maestro Vibrola, this guitar has all the character, mojo, and stage presence you’d want from a real vintage SG.
This guitar is all original except for the input jack and comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC). The pots date to 1970 and appear original, though it is not certain whether they were changed.
Condition is rated at 8.5/10 – Good for its age. There has been a heel repair, along with a few cracks and repairs near the knobs. Despite that, it remains a strong player with tons of vintage appeal. The neck has a 50’s fat profile that feels substantial and comfortable in the hand. Overall, this is an honest vintage SG with real character and the kind of wear you would expect from a guitar that has lived a life.
