Lovies Guitars is offering up a Vintage 1974 Fender Stratocaster in a Classic Black Finish! This guitar has a chiming, airy quality and a clear percussive cut. Twangy and snappy when it’s required or bell-like and warm at the flip of a switch, all of the traditional Strat bases are covered with this model, including plenty of quack in the “in between” settings on the original three-way switch. On the lighter side for a ’70s Strat, this axe has a surprisingly warm and full sound even when unplugged, with a natural bell-like chime that translates well through the pickups. No routes or repairs. Tone is out of this world. Has that classic vintage Strat tone. A wonderful example for the player and collector alike. The Pickups and Pots date back to 1974, the ’74 on the neck is very hard to see. This sweet Axe is in Excellent Shape especially for its age, however, the finish is cloudy and split in spots, hardware tarnish, back plate is cracked and worn, many finish marks and minor indents on the body and neck, headstock edges are worn a bit, frets about 70% life left. ALL Original-NO Breaks, Cracks or Repairs, includes an Original Hard-Shell Case!!
