Lovies Guitars is offering up a Vintage 1974 Fender Stratocaster with a Black Finish! This guitar has a chiming, airy quality and a clear percussive cut. Twangy and snappy when it’s required or bell-like and warm at the flip of a switch, all of the traditional Strat bases are covered with this model, including plenty of quack in the “in between” settings on the original three-way switch. On the lighter side for a ’70s Strat, this axe has a surprisingly warm and full sound even when unplugged, with a natural bell-like chime that translates well through the pickups. No routes or repairs. Tone is out of this world. Has that classic vintage Strat tone. A wonderful example for the player and collector alike. This sweet Axe is in Good Shape especially for its age, however, there’s pickguard wear, hardware tarnish, finish checking, indents and marks all over, a few larger marks on the back, a couple tiny finish chips at the heel and cutaways, the fret board is a bit worn, frets at about 80% left, 7.5/10. ALL Original, except one pot was replaced (1989). NO Breaks, Cracks or Repairs, includes an Original Hard-Shell Case!!
