Lovies Guitars is Excited to offer up this 1977 Gibson RD Artist Electric Guitar with a Black Ebony Finish! The Gibson RD Artist is a cult classic – and this first-year 1977 model is a prime example! It’s Moog electronics are completely original and functioning perfectly! On top of the classic Gibson tones that can be coaxed from the Series VI humbuckers, the special electronics also provide a bright mode, treble and bass boosts, compression, and expansion. The offset body and 25.5″ scale set neck are solid maple, and an ebony fingerboard adds high end class. The guitar also sports gold hardware, a TP6 tailpiece with tune-o-matic bridge, and the unique headstock inlay. It is in Great Shape, Especially for its age, however, there are a fair bit of dimples, indents and marks all over, hardware tarnish, a few larger marks on the back, pickguard and plastic covers on the back have wear, a light stress crack on the treble side veneer from the 1st-3rd fret and a small blemish on the top edge of the headstock, 8/10. ALL Original-NO Breaks, Cracks or Repairs. Includes an Original Hard-Shell Case!
