Description

Lovies Guitars is Excited to offer up this 1979 Gibson ES-335 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with a Sunburst Finish! From Eric Clapton to Larry Carlton, Robben Ford to John Scoffield, Richie Blackmore to Robbie Krieger, it’s no wonder the Gibson ES-335 has become one of the most iconic, sought after guitars for players and collectors alike. Like the Les Paul, the ES-335 stands as one of Gibson’s all-time most iconic models. The ES-335 is a semi-hollowbody guitar which means that it has a solid block of wood running through its center with hollow wings on either side. This construction style maintains the open tone of a hollowbody while helping to reduce feedback. The ES-335 was introduced in 1958 and has remained in production in various forms ever since. This guitar is in great shape for its age with hardware tarnish, finish checking, wear on the lower bass side bout and on back and neck, indents, makes and buckle wear, rated at 8.5/10. Missing inside label and upgraded knobs and free of any breaks or repairs. Included with this guitar is an original hard-shell case and a complimentary sample of Fret-Not, our preferred fretboard cleaner, check it out at fretnot.net! Thank you for considering this exceptional instrument from Lovies Guitars.
