Built by Gibson, the Byrdland is one of Gibson’s most elegant and refined archtop designs, originally developed for jazz greats and known for its ultra-comfortable short scale, exceptional playability, and warm, articulate hollow-body tone.
This Byrdland delivers a rich, complex voice with deep warmth, smooth mids, and a clear, singing top end. The fully hollow construction provides excellent acoustic resonance, while the short scale length enhances playability and contributes to its signature smooth, rounded tonal character. It excels in jazz, blues, and classic clean electric applications where nuance and expression are key.

This guitar is all original (OG) aside from non-original pickup rings and a professional refret, and comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition: 9.4/10 – Very Good. Very good condition for its age with medium aging on the hardware. Features a few small dings on the top and light surface scuffs on the back. Overall a well-preserved vintage instrument with honest wear and excellent playability.
