Lovies Guitars is excited to offer up this 1943 Martin 000-42 Natural Acoustic Guitar w/ Brazilian rosewood back and sides! The 000-42 is an auditorium-sized, short scale, 14-fret instrument with a lower bout that is just 15″ wide and 4-1/8″ deep. This Martin classic has an Adirondack Spruce top matched with Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides. It is a highly ornamental guitar, with ivoroid bindings, Abalone rosette and inlays and Abalone/multi-color trim. The neck is Martin’s modified V-shape which has a lovely feel without being excessively big. The bridge is made from black ebony. This guitar is in excellent shape for its age with finish checking and wear and some indents and marks and a neck reset, rated at 9/10. All original and free of any breaks, cracks or repairs.
