This is an absolutely fantastic Bourgeois Country Boy Deluxe, featuring figured Mahogany back & sides, an Adirondack Spruce top and Bourgeois’ “Banjo Killer” bracing structure (yields a thumpier, boomier low end). This is a really throaty, powerful guitar, with colorful overtones and shimmer you don’t normally expect from a mahogany dreadnought. The voice is woody and very well defined, with excellent balance and snap in the high end. A wonderful flatpicking guitar, that sounds great played with bare fingers as well. This instrument has been fitted with an L.R. Baggs Anthem Pickup. Super Clean with just a tiny finish mark on the headstock and a couple light marks on the top, easy 9.8/10!
