The EB-0 is a true early-’60s short-scale thumper—warm, deep, and wooly with huge fundamental, perfect for vintage rock, soul, and anyone who wants that unmistakable old-school Gibson low-end character. This one has all the vibe you’d hope for in a real-deal early EB-0.
This bass is all original (OG) and comes with a Hardshell Case (HSC). The original Bakelite pickup cover is intact, a great detail for collectors.
Condition is rated at 9.4/10 – Very Good. It shows light buckle rash, a handful of dings on the back of the neck, and a handful of dings around the body—all honest vintage wear. There is also some finish wear on the back of the headstock. Hardware shows light aging/checking consistent with age. No cracks, breaks, or repairs noted.
