Lovies Guitars is offering up a Vintage 1973 Fender Telecaster Deluxe in a Shoreline Gold Finish! With its solid ash body and pair of original Seth Lover-designed Wide Range Humbuckers, this Tele is a punchy, powerful instrument with the notable clarity and percussive power of this pickup design. As the architect of the original Gibson “PAF” humbucker, Seth Lover subsequently made his mark on Fender with the Wide Range pickup, a unique oversized humbucker constructed using individually slotted and threaded pole pieces made from CuNiFe (copper-nickel-iron) magnets. The result is a pickup that has Fender’s signature sparkle and cut, yet with the added warmth and fullness of a humbucker. The solid ash body gives the guitar a notable midrange presence too. The maple neck has a medium C-shaped profile with good shoulder and fairly consistent depth as you travel up the fretboard. On the maple fretboard, the frets are at about 75%. The hand-carved bone nut measures 1 5/8″ in width and the headstock retains the original Fender-branded Schaller chrome tuning machines. All of the original hardware is present including the six saddle bridge with clean chrome plating. This sick axe has been refinished, everything else is original. In Great Shape, especially for itsa age, however, there are a few minor marks on the neck, frets about 75% life left, electronics all original. No Breaks, Cracks or Repairs! Includes Original Hard-Shell Case!!!!!!
